Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about every once in a while.

(Posted on Nintendo DS running R4 SDHC DS NePof)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8231784566931768362.post-82318364751191310032010-01-03T06:41:54.009-05:002010-01-03T06:41:54.009-05:00Your blog keeps getting better and better! I see value to grad students reading elementary stuff, and to grade school teachers getting a sense of what college folks discuss, and having them all get a look at some computer science or economics. When we are too separate, we can get wierd(er?)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8231784566931768362.post-21913750840834399692007-06-16T12:25:00.000-04:002007-06-16T12:25:00.000-04:00Great Carnival, Dave! Once again, my apologies to Michi and Terry.
In his blog, Michi expressed that my suggestion for separating the Carnival is premature. I tend to agree. I was just trying to elicit some thoughts about this. The number of submissions we currently receive are affected by many factors such as the newness of the Carnival (thus some are not yet aware of this medium). I do believe however some potential contributors of K-12 math/math ed might be intimidated by the high level of mathematics that appears in some links. Perhaps, down the road a piece, a split might be worth pursuing...Dave Marainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13321770881353644307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8231784566931768362.post-13077788037965547902007-06-15T09:24:00.000-04:002007-06-15T09:24:00.000-04:00Thanks for a great carnival!
